Through specialized processing, discarded fragments of Nishijin-ori fabric—once woven for Kyoto’s opulent obi sashes—are encased in transparent glass, ensuring that no two pieces are ever identical.

This motif utilizes the vertical tanzaku format to depict layered fine branches and flickers of light, evoking the stillness of a winter forest. Gold, silver, and blue threads emerge like glimmers of light in the dark, creating a gentle, dreamlike shimmer.

Straddling the boundary between abstraction and representation, the design reflects a deep connection to nature without directly depicting it. Through the minimal elegance of the tanzaku form, it captures a quiet moment suspended in time—a landscape of memory, light, and stillness.

短冊の縦構成を活かし、細く繊細な枝の重なりや光の粒が織り込まれた幻想的な意匠である。冬の森を思わせる静けさの中に、金糸・銀糸・青のアクセントが差し込まれ、淡く揺らぐ灯りのような表情を見せている。

具体的な植物を描かずとも、自然とのつながりや風景の記憶を感じさせる構成であり、抽象と具象の境界に位置する詩的な文様である。短冊という伝統的フォーマットを通して、静寂と光、そして時間の流れを織り上げている。
